Kristen Ross’s landscape and botanical paintings explore the complex relationships between the land, its flora,

and ourselves. Her dynamic color and linework capture the countless changes constantly occurring

all around us, from the blooming of the tiniest flower to the erosion of the Rocky Mountains and the

increasingly noticeable effects of climate change. Much of her work is inspired by her travels around

Colorado with family and friends.
