About

Crowd Collective’s mission is to keep art accessible to all, fostering a welcoming environment of artistic expression by providing artists with an affordable, safe, and inclusive space to create and display their work, as well as the opportunity to engage directly with the greater community through regular free public art events.

Located in the heart of the NoBo Art District, Crowd Collective was founded in May 2018 by artist Tiffany Crowder, who noticed a lack of affordable creative spaces dedicated to visual artists in the Boulder area. The Collective first opened its doors during the NoBo Art District’s monthly First Friday Art Walk, which remains a popular monthly event connecting our artists with community members to this day. Since 2018, The Collective has been a creative home to more than 30 artists from diverse backgrounds and has seen thousands of visitors from all walks of life enter its doors.

The Collective is currently home to 13 emerging and established artists working in a multitude of media. Visitors to The Collective are welcomed into a small gallery that features both guest and resident studio artists, beyond which our artists’ studios stand open to all, providing a glimpse into the creative atmosphere of our maker space and allowing artists to share their creative process with the public via various educational opportunities.

Designed by artists, for artists, Crowd Collective plays an important role in ensuring that art remains a vibrant and active part of our community, enriching the lives of both creatives and visitors alike.
